Living In The Moment.

Fri 30/3/12 22:03

Today is FRIDAY!!!! :D :D Marks the end of good weather and the start of Easter holidays!!!!! Not much of a holiday, and it's pretty stressful cuz in these two weeks, I should be doing major work because by the end of this holiday, then I'll only have a month and a half left!!! Omgosssh. So little time!!!!!! So in this holiday, I need to, get Applied Maths done, write Religion essays up, read some Chemistry topics etc. Bla bla bla.

Anyway. Today Elaine got her Ag Sci oral done, and she did well!! So glad for her! She worked hard for it. She said on Twitter, there was a quote 'Suffer with discipline, or suffer with regret. Your choice.' and that's so true. It's what I've been saying. Either do it, or hold your peace. I don't mind (ok, I will mind, but not so much) if I don't get the score as long as I KNOW I put in my best. You know? Haha. So good for her. We all were gonna go to Nyonya. But we were discussing and discussing and we decided to go to this all you can eat Chinese buffet place called Jimmy Chung. It was fun!!!! Greeshma couldn't come because she was doing her prac. (Elaine and I are gonna do ours tmr at EIGHT in the morning omygoshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) The food was only so-so. There was dessert which was good!!!!!!! Apple crumble!!! And ice cream, which was a lil tasteless. I was so excited cuz they had vegies.. but it was realllllly bad. It had a really bad smell. It wasn't off, it just had this smell that was so ugh. That was kinda sad. The dinner was €16!!!!!!!!! And I definitely would've enjoyed Nyonya better. But you know what? As I always say, it really isn't the place and what's on the itinerary, but the company you're with. And it was so great oh!!!! Had a good laugh.. talking about really random stuff. The end of the world, starting families, people who have 6 children at one go, plastic surgery and botox, looking your age. Omygosh it was so random. Had a good chat a good laugh. So awesome oh!!! You know, they really are great people. They're just so good. They're not saints, but they're like so nice and sincere and friendly. It wasn't like in Malaysia and other places how they have like cliques and stuff, where you can't join their group unless you're their type. Elaine and I just joined their circle just like that. And they have random people joining us for lunch some days too. And they have no prejudice at all!!!! And they don't gossip about people. Seriously. I only noticed that recently. They don't really just sit there gossiping and talking about other people. It's really a big difference lo. And it's like... it's like I've known them for ages, they don't treat me like I'm some new kid or whatever.. it's like I'm just a part of them already. Accepted. Haha. They're nice. :D Anyway. We stayed at the restaurant from 5pm to 8pm!!!!!! Ate lots and TALKED lots and LAUGHED lots. We were so loud. Laughing so boisterously. Hahaha it was fun. :D

Nini said something about living in the moment. Cuz like.. life's short you know? And sometimes it doesn't work out the way you want to, your future can change in such a short time etc.. So you just gotta live in the moment. Like when you get those feelings when you're just super exuberant and just wanna scream, then SCREAM and jump for joy!!!!! And Nwando was saying that when we love someone, like our family, don't ever forget to keep telling them that. If you love someone, tell them. That's the most important thing, she said. Nini said she always says 'I love you long time'. Haha. I wish that I have more time to talk to my parents looo. Now that we're 7 hours apart from Malaysia, it's really really hard to find time to talk to them. Cuz I'm at school, if I'm not, they're asleep. Ugh. But weekends should be good. I love them!!!! Need to let them know!!! Nigerians seem cool. After getting to know Nwando and Nini, I wanna go travel to Nigeria! It seems like an awesome place. Like both of them are just so comfortable in their own skin and they are such good people. Like I know Nini is the type that doesn't judge people. They may be dirty and smelly but they may be good people. Etc. And they were saying how in Nigeria, during recess/lunch time, you HAVE to go out and play. It wouldn't be allowed for you to just sit in class. And EVERY day, there's a set activity for the students to do, like they have a skipping day where you have to skip rope during a set time. So everyone is active. Like they actually make it interesting for you. Sounds wonderful lo. And both Nini and Nwando seem like they have a great relationship with their families. :D So nice.

Well.. Gonna enjoy my free day today. Wanna get my religion project done this weekend!!!!!! :( :( :( :(

(Ohmygosh!!! March is almost over!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmm time has passed quickly. Have I grown? What has changed? :/ )
