JASON MRAZ!!!

Omygoshhhh!! LOVE HIM SO MUCH! Just.. omygosh.. Listening to him, sometimes it makes my heart squeeze and I feel soooo.. happy and touched and I'm just blown away! I stumbled across his video on Youtube yesterday. And the melody is catchy, it's nice. And I just googled the lyrics and now, I'm.. so amazed!!!!! Seriously. He has so much to offer you know. That's why he's the only celebrity that I truly am a fan of! Because he has more than what he seems to have. He not only is a singer, he's an artist and he's funny, and he's a great person (not a saint though haha), and he's content and just so much more. He sings to preach his message, his view on life, to bring smiles upon people's faces, to bring equality! Hahaha. Funny if he reads this and he's like 'pfft so not true'. But anyway. Haha. To be honest, sometimes I don't like some of his songs. But then he goes and writes this amazing love song 'I won't give up' and it's so awesome. AND THEN. AND THEN he goes and comes up with something even better: a meaningful song!!!!! Honestly. 93 Million Miles. Read the lyrics and be swept away!!! wowowowow!!!!!

It's so simple, yet it's meaning rings sooo true you know!!! To me, basically it kinda means that no matter what, we always have our family having our backs. And that no matter what, we shouldn't loes sight of who we are, who we are as a person and where we came from you know? Ugh. It's just a good song ok! Haha. :D Seriously, too bad that he deleted his blog you know! :( freshnessfactorfivethousand.blogspot.com! I still occasionally check it to see if he puts everything back. But no luck yet. 

You know, come to think about it, Jason Mraz has really kinda made his way in my life.. he's made a difference in my life. Like Details In The Fabric is a song I listen to when I feel so lost. And it's so simple and sincere, saying 'hold your own, know your name, and go your own way' and it's so tough sometimes you know? But it's what we gotta do. Find ourselves, stay TRUE to ourselves, and theennn keep ploughing on. OMYGOSH. Listen to this video!!!!!! The words he says in the beginning is SO TRUE. Remembering then forgetting. Thinking you know where you're going, then finding yourself lost. Forgetting the people in your past.... SO TRUE!!!!!! :( :( That's why I try and blog. So I won't forget. Haha. I LOVEEEEEEEE You and I Both. Seriously one of my all time favourite songs. Nothing meaningful, but I just love it, forever and always! It was the first song I learnt on my guitar! Haha can't say I know how to play all of it. Miss my guitar lots. But yea. :D Worthy song to be the first one I learn. ;) 

ANYWAY. Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. It's HUGE. Like I'm in this Western country, a place where I previously just read about in books/seen in movies. And like, over here, the scientist that came up with P1V1=P2V2 (Robert Doyle) is from here.. and The Script and WESTLIFE is from here. It's honestly kinda surreal lo. And somehow I'm still desensitized to it all. I don't realise what a big deal it is. For this festival, the White House, the tallest building in the world in Dubai are lighting up their structures in green, and even NIAGARA FALLS is somehow gonna be green too. IMAGINE THAT! That's seriously huge! So anyway. Today after school Elaine and I went to the city, needed to buy some stuff. And there was this Irish Dancing thing on in the middle of the street. Festival Ceili? Part of the celebration of St Patrick's Day.. they have events till Monday! The public just participate and they dance in pairs or in groups, with live Irish music playing on this small stage set-up, and a kinda MC dictating everyone. And everyone, EVERYONE was dressed up!!! There were specks of green everywhere! And it wasn't even the proper day yet! I honestly am excited about tomorrow!!!! :D :D Am looking forward to the festivities and the green and the crazy costumes I'm gonna see. PHOTOS! 


Today I was kinda hyper. Oh it's kinda weird. Cuz Elaine and I, it's like we have a common aura. In the sense that we don't have the same aura, as in we kinda complement each other? Haha. When I'm kinda down, she's happy. When she's kinda down, I'm happy. Like the past two days, I wasn't really down but I guess I was tired, I wasn't hyper. And she was so happy. But today, she's kinda down and I'm super hyper. Can I say I love my lunch group? The group we eat with are the girls from the other day. Lemise, Nwandoo, and Greeshma. Then there's Fatimah who only eats cheese sticks cuz she's on a diet (that's CRAZY!) and then there's Nini (full name is Nini-ola? Nice name). They're all so NICE and hardworking and funny! Nwandoo and Nini are soooo crazy!!!!!! Nwandoo is like totally outrageous! I love it!! She brings out the loud, nonsense-talking me! Haha. So yea today at lunch we were laughing and chatting and just.. gah hyperrrr. hahaha. I watched Fast Five just now on TV. Ate pasta for dinner, slice of plain cake, and one and a half bowls of cereal. Crazy. Anyway. Should really get some work done!!! 


Life is tough. But it's always good!!! :) Better, if we get a good night's sleep. ;)
