Hehe hello! Haha. Today was a normal sleepy day. There's this Farmer's Market in Harcourt every Thursday. Elaine and I stumbled upon it one day when we were on the way for coffee. It's pretty cool, kinda like a mini mini Caribbean Market in Melbourne.. Is that what it's called? The one at night with all the food stalls. So yea. We went there today for lunch!! There was a stall selling paella, risotto, Thai food, Mexican tortillas, Lebanese wraps with Kofta lamb and falafel I think. Then there were smaller stalls selling baked goods, like those French bread and pastries, caramel slices and the works, and cupcakes. Elaine and I both bought two cupcakes each. 1 for €3 or 2 for €5. Hahaha. Bought a banana bread with buttercream icing, and a raspberry crumble cupcake!! :D :D :D And a double choc chip cookie which was only €1!!!!!! The one in the cafeteria is that price and it's not even that good. So that was a real plus! Haven't eaten the cupcakes yet. Waiting for after dinner wheeee!! :D :D Today was quite sunny but cold, but SUNNY. So that was a blessing. :D I whatsapped Leonnie.. waiting for her reply! And whatsapped Maxine too!! Hahaha.
Anyway. I don't know how many days left to the Leaving. 56? :O Getting smaller and smaller (the number I mean!)!!! :O OMYGOSH. Jia you jia you! 'Persevere', as duffer says. Haha. Oooh. Talked to Ning Xuan today!!! She's the other Malaysian in fifth form (one year smaller than the Leaving Cert year). There're only three Malaysians here, so Elaine and I were told about her. We've seen her once or twice around school, but I saw her today in my Physics class. Cuz it's just Easter classes, so she came to help her revision etc (-.- she doesn't even need it gosh not even sitting for the exam!) haha. Anyway. So I just went up to her after class and was like 'hey are you Ning Xuan?' and she gave me this super weird look like 'HOW DID YOU KNOW, STALKER?' kinda thing. Haha. We talked a little. I don't know.. the impression I got from her is like she wasn't that excited. Maybe cuz she's young and it's her first time away, she doesn't feel the yearning for home. Or maybe she's really bad at expressing herself? Haha. Cuz she didn't really seem that excited, like when I told her about the Malaysian restaurant and stuff. I don't blame her la.. young people. (hahaha prob just a year difference -.-) But it's true though.. Lots of people leave home without having formed a true sense of who they are.. And lots of people, sadly, think it's super cool to be in a Western country and wanna immerse themselves in the new culture and so they get easily influenced, doing things they might not have done in their own country. I'm kinda worried about Steph too in that respect. But anyway. Just pray la.. pray they know who they are and that they won't lose sight of themselves. Losing yourself is so easy when you're away. :O :O First hand experience man! Anyway.. I'll see Ning Xuan at Physics tomorrow again. See how it goes. :D
Ohh ya. Been playing this on Kat's iPod Touch. Hahaha. Kinda hard. :D It's the game Kel introduced long ago. Whee! VALET HERO!
My teeth are so yellow. Too much caffeine and chocolate I think. :/ Bought new better toothpaste and stuff. UGH. So worried about my teeth. Study study study! Tmr last day of classes then one week off!!! Need to do lots IN EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!!! COUNTDOWN!!!! Persevere! :(
