Worried

I don't know whether I should be worried about these things, but I am! And I think I should actually be (I know! Contradicting myself!) because I'm sixteen (OH that sounds so oldddddddddd. No offense!) and I don't know how to cook real food. I have never done the laundry before, I think my conversing skills are not good enough, I don't know anything about what is going on around the world, the politics, economics and the history of this world and things like that, only a tiny part of it. Things I want to know and need to know! I want to learn all these stuff. I'm just worried, now that I'm soon to be leaving to study. But then on the other hand I can't wait, because I'll get the chance to learn all these things when I leave. Of course my mum may be coming along because I'm not going to a boarding school, and I don't know whether that's a good thing. She's not going to be there permanently, that's what she tells me. It's going to be comforting to know that I'll go home everyday over there to see someone I'm totally comfortable with, but then maybe I won't get the chance to really grow up and learn independence. DO YOU GET WHAT I MEAN? Because I don't get it, I'm confused.

I wish I had the chance to learn history properly. I'm quite interested with it. But then as you all may know, the history we learn here is not world history. So yeap, we only know about Malaysia's history. Which is not a bad thing. I guess. Haha. And I also want to learn a language. I don't speak or understand aany dialects at all and that is kind of lousy you know. When I'm in Kuching I just smile when they smile even though I have no idea what they just said. Sigh. I want to learn a dialect, (dialects, preferably) and a language because I want to travel, history, economics and accounting? Probably. But then I think it's not possible (stupid cake. You all know what I'm talking about...... Hopefully.) because the main focus is your VCE subjects and I don't know whether there's a maximum number of subjects you can take but I know if there isn't, it'll be stupid to take so many subjects. It'll kill your scores, definitely. My options are already Phy, Chem, Maths, Eco, Hist, Eng, and another Maths if I'm not mistaken. I know I have 7 subjects on my list and people usually take 5, I think. It's crazy! I wish I could just take a few only because I'm interested, but not for VCE. I don't know. Is that possible?

Anyway, Theng is back! =D Hahaha. Going to meet up with her probably soon. And sorry everyone, for not replying your texts, I've been so lazy and always reading my book. And when I'm reading (or watching TV), I don't like to do other stuff, like talk. Haha.

So yup. EVERYONE! Pray for the sick people! Seriously! And pray for the sick people's families to be strong! <---- MUST!

  2. I'm not sure whether you can drop or not. But then if you take like, 5 subjects, it's already hard. Because you're aiming for top marks for the VCE, which is the big exam like our SPM or PMR or UEC. So you have to do really well. It's the results you take to apply for Uni. So if I take 7 it's like.. alot. If you say I went to their high school since young then it's different. I'm not sure.... Housework I'm okay, just clothes stuff I've never done before. For language, it depends whether they have a teacher to teach. So, see how la. Hehe

  3. I think you don't have problem taking 7 subjects, you know there's still people who are willing to help you up if you ask, so it'll be okay=D

Go watch your kakak how to do the laundry, it won't be that hard. Or you can just ask your sis how to do it. haha.

I don't speak dialects as well, but I understand somexD so I think you should listen more to what they're saying, it helps a lot, like you're speaking English! These things just come by themselves, I think? hahahaha.

  5. KEL!!!!!!! But you went to Aus and learnt how to do these things. I can't go to Aus and just rely on you and not learn to do these things. And mum keeps saying, 'You know Kel would be SOOOOO busy....'

    Bla bla bla

Thanks Janice! =D We have to move forward man! Even though I'm kind of scared of fire. Which makes it hard for me to cook. Oh well. Hahaha! =D

Angela, it's not whether I get to learn it ok or not, but the exam!!! You MUST score high! And taking so many subjects is a risk!

KEL!!!!!! You're suppose to give me what you think on everything else lah! Like the subjects!!!!!!!!!! FASTERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

  8. Get your marks high then, you know you can do it if you are willing to learn it =D

I can understand some of the hakka and cantonise, like those basic ones, but then I don't know where's the difference between these two dialects (is there any difference?). zzz.
And like you said, I can't speak dialects. hahaha.

  9. Dont worry too much. chill. Washing clothes is easy, just dump them inside a washing machine and jab some random buttons. As long as you dont press the 'ultra wash' button then your clothes will be fine.

Cooking is easy too. For me, my only option is a microwave, so all of my home cook meals are instant noodles=) hahah.. i highly doubt that you will be cooking a feast in ur house =.=

As for your VCE, its almost like my 'o' levels exam and i understand that it is a big deal!! at least you only need to take 5, i need to take 9 T.T even harder.

The first few exams will be tough as you r in a different environment and acclimatisation is needed. Dont expect to get all A's in ur first exam, it won't be that easy. Trust me.

'you must score high'? hmmm.. without any doubts that is true but a person's life is like a graph. there are up's and down's. the down's are at the beginning stage and the up's are during VCE. What goes up, must come down. If you do very well in ur first, your graph will be TOTALLY WRONG!!! Its call karma. Know ur strength and weakness well, dont be intimidated by others (especially the china ppl, they are way too studious).

Overall, i think that you will be fine. Your sister is there which gives u quite some advantage and you dont have to worry so much about getting bad grades. For my case, i hav to constantly take in bad insults from the teachers just because of the scholarship thing(no offence). Be strong and be the krystell that i know=)

  10. Haha. Thanks Theng!! =D Would reply your text but don't have credit. T-T But then you know for VCE, I'm not sure how the marking scheme is, but then the marks those pro people get are like 99.7% or something like that. @@ How do they even get those marks! And then there's the laundry with the hot and cold colours/washes stuff which I'm not sure of at all! Hehehe. Will have to learn!

And I'm not going to a boarding school. I'm going to a state school, which is not boarding. And neither am I going to a homestay too. So I'll need to learn at least basic food to cook just in case my big sis isn't free or something. *hyperventilating!!!* Or, you know, I get hungry and want to eat something.

I think my graph has a problem. Haha. It doesn't go up or down. It sort of stays in a straight horizontal line. It occasionally goes up or down a little, but always stays about the same. Haha. I hardly improve alot and I hardly drop as well. HMMMMM. Hence my never-changing results.

Haha China people! Definitely! But hey, we're chinese too! =P

Yup, I understand about the scholarship thing. People expect alot from you. But don't rush yourself k! You can do it! =D Hopefully so can I!

    KEL!
