Prettiest Friend
Very nice video. Song by Jason Mraz. It's a live version, so be patient. It's really, really nice. This song totally caught my attention when I first heard it because of the HATS. Haha. Enjoy! Oh and of course, it's not mine.

Ready Or Not
I'm so not ready, for so many things. But the main point of this post is the video. I LOVE THIS SONG. It's so old, I have no idea how old it is. We have the cassette of one of their albums at home. Haha. Enjoy!
Ready Or Not- A1
(First line is: Could you love a boy like me tonight?) Just in case you were wondering.
I know, corny dance. But I want to learn it. Hahaha.
I know this post is totally opposite to the one before. But that is also what surprises me. It really surprises me that someone can be whistling a tune, but inside they are actually thinking of something frustrating, trying to solve a problem, making those darn lists; or that someone can be doing their homework, but inside they are actually very sad, thinking about what had happened, what is happening, what is to happen. It really surprises me. Just, don't mistake people's exterior mood for what they have buried inside of them. Lalala.

Details In The Fabric
Been listening to this song, been listening to sad, slow songs, which is not a good sign.
Sigh.
Jason Mraz (feat James Morrison)
Calm down
Deep breaths
And get yourself dressed instead
Of running around
And pulling all your threads saying
Breaking yourself up
If it's a broken part, replace it
But, if it's a broken arm then brace it
If it's a broken heart then face it
Hold your own
Know your own name
And go your own way
And everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
Mmmhmm
Hang on
Help is on the way
Stay strong
I'm doing everything
Are the details in the fabric
Are the things that make you panic
Are your thoughts results of static cling?
Are the things that make you blow
Hell, no reason, go on and scream
If you're shocked it's just the fault
Of faulty manufacturing.
Yeah everything will be fine
Everything in no time at all
Everything
Are the details in the fabric (Hold your own, know your name)
Are the things that make you panic (Go your own way)
Is it Mother Nature's sewing machine?
Are the things that make you blow (Hold your own, know your name)
Hell no reason go on and scream
If you're shocked it's just the fault (Go your own way)
Of faulty manufacturing
Everything will be fine
Everything in no time at all
Hearts will hold
Mercy- One Republic.
But where is the angel?

I Have No Idea
I hate having this characteristic where I so easily feel passionate about something. I fall in love with something so easily, I believe something so easily, I believe that there is good in everyone, in this way I forgive easily, get hurt easily, get angry easily. It makes me feel so embarrassed, so vulnerable, so useless. Emotional. I dislike it, very much.

I have no idea. Like I said before, I wonder about many things. Especially about friends and stuff. Do they actually look forward to meeting me online? Through email or MSN? Look forward as in look forward, not because they feel obliged to, not because they have nothing better to do, but actually, honestly look forward to it?
Honestly, now that's another problem. I am genuinely honest about most things, about the things that matter. I honestly look forward to meeting my friends online, I honestly look forward to seeing what they have to say, I honestly don't look forward to going to school, but I honestly look forward to seeing chatting with Sum Sum in school.
Anyway, I would like to mention here how dependent I've become since I came here, as in dependent on my friends. To me, they are like my 'refuge'. At that time when I was feeling very lonely (as only some of you might know), they were really like my 'savior', but savior is a strong word, so I prefer a simpler yet more meaningful word,.... 'friend'. Clifern, Nick, Denise, Jessie and TURTLE. I think that most of you will be kind of confused, I bet most of you don't even realised what you guys have done to help me at that time(this time?). Haha. That's why I said the 'characteristic' is embarrassing. Ooohh, I would also like to mention Tham.
Tham gave me a book that he lent me last year during my farewell. Way overdue, as I mentioned the book a few months before. Haha. But thanks anyway. So nice of him to give the book to me for free. Hehe. Thanks alot, I really appreciate it. Now it can sit in my collection of books (mostly unread). THANKS THAM! (There's no such thing as Ahya, only Ah Tham). HAHA.
Life As We Knew It- Susan Pfeffer

Miranda’s disbelief turns to fear in a split second when a meteor knocks the moon closer to the earth. How should her family prepare for the future when worldwide tsunamis wipe out the coasts, earthquakes rock the continents, and volcanic ash blocks out the sun? As summer turns to Arctic winter, Miranda, her two brothers, and their mother retreat to the unexpected safe haven of their sunroom, where they subsist on stockpiled food and limited water in the warmth of a wood-burning stove. Told in journal entries, this is the heart-pounding story of Miranda’s struggle to hold on to the most important resource of all--hope--in an increasingly desperate and unfamiliar world.
A Scholastic book. It's awesome. As you read it you feel so absorbed into the story and feel as if you are actually in it. It's so unbelievable and makes you feel so lucky and thankful. It's sad, yet funny. It's just a great book that I really enjoyed reading and didn't want the end to come so soon. But like every book, the end comes sooner or later. But all I know is, I'll definitely reread it. Can't wait! 5/5 for me! =D
Anyway, here comes a shocking update. I have decided to give up the Maths thing. I say that it's just too hard (not really), the book has lousy explanations, the examples are not good enough, and it's just so frustrating because I keep getting stuck in the problems. But then I think it's more my own fault. I'm just too lazy. Honest. I'm so disappointed in myself. I wish someone would kick me and yell at me. I feel so bad too. Feel so bad for Mrs. Loke for trying to pull all these things together for me. GAH.

Moving On
Denise told me this and I realized it's true. I have to get this into my head and learn to let go and accept this. It's not going to be easy.
When I'm here, which I will continue to be for some time, my friends will all be moving on. They will be going out with new people, attending parties, sleepovers, outings and DINNERS without me. I'm going to be so jealous but it's bound to happen. I really have to accept this fact and learn to let go.
Hopefully I'll be able to get my own life then, which I do not have much of now.
Well.. I just pray that God will guide me through this rough patch. I pray that He will take away this horrible jealous-ish feeling. It's not good. I want to say that they are lucky they are back home and safe and happy with all their friends, but I am also lucky to be here. Oh well.. Que Sera, Sera.
Going to bed now. Tomorrow it's work! Work Hard (Die Hard) 4 point Ou. Hehe.
Friends and Fans
What does friends mean? What does the word 'friend' mean? People keep asking me whether I've made friends already or not. Well. What is the definition of a friend?
If 'friends' mean acquaintances, then I know many.
If 'friends' mean just being able to talk about normal things, but not really things that matter, then I know a handful.
If 'friends' mean being able to talk and laugh with, the person you hang with during recess, then I have one.
If 'friends' mean being able to really trust and really talk about anything with, without any difficulty, can spend hours and hours with them and not get tired, can laugh at almost nothing for an hour straight, and even feel love for them, then I have none here.
Yup... That's the truth. But I'm alright here, really I am. There's no need to worry. Like I said, blogging is just so I won't forget the feelings I have now, and maybe also to see what you guys have to say about it. =D
As for fans, I meant fans, literally. As in those things that hang from the ceiling and turn at a speed sufficient to move the air enough to create wind. Haha. Regarding the perfect weather, today was the first time we used the fan in class! But it was only during a double Chinese. But it was cool. Haha.
But Friends and Fans. I've recently been watching *drumroll* Devil Beside You, again. (So embarrassing!) I guess I'm just crazy. Anyway. I guess sometimes we actually do mistake being a fan of someone as to actually liking that person. Isn't that true? That's what happened to Qi Yue when she thought she liked Yuan Yi. Haha. So funny. Anyway. Fan or Crush, I guess I should say.. HMM.
And BTW, the weather report lives true to it's nature as a thunerstorm has befallen us here. It's supposed to be 30 degrees tomorrow and THUNDERSTORM! Haha. Going to spend tomorrow and Sunday studying the MM. Hopefully will catch you guys online!
