New Moon

I watched New Moon just now at Melbourne Central. The cinema seats are more comfortable than the ones back home. When I sat down the word 'soft' came to mind instantly. But they weren't like those super comfortable sofa seats, just more comfortable and softer than the cinema seats back home. Haha.

New Moon. Nice. I think that this director really did a better job than the one before. The one before added a lot of her own stuff (eg. spider monkey, the tree climbing thing etc). For this one, the movie was much more realistic (as in the effect and the wire works and stuff). Seriously. This time the effects of them being super fast were really much better! They did that speeding the whole thing up (for the vamps' speedy movements) and then suddenly going slow motion for effect, which kind of made me think of The Guy Was Gorgeous He Was Cool in the fighting scene where he asks the girl to count to a hundred. I thought that was pretty effective, made it really seem fast because of the contrast it had with the slow motion.

And let me just laugh for a moment about Jacob's wig when he still had long hair. It was a mess! Don't get me wrong though, I think him with long hair is better, and the wig is definitely better than the one in Twilight, but it was falling everywhere with no real parting. Kind of like the wig in Mean Girls when Lindsay Lohan went to the halloween party. Hmm. Then when he got short hair it was so... neat. Haha. But it was all good! =D

Ooohhh.. Dakota Fanning was really good. She's so cool! =D I thought it was kind of rushed after the Volturi thing, but I thought it ended really well. All in all it wasn't that big a disappointment and it was ok! =D The only thing I missed when the age thing Bella and Jacob kept doing at the beginning. Like when one of them did something, they added years to their ages to compete to see who was older. That was funny. But oh well.
