BECAUSE. the stress of my piano stuff is.. not entirely gone, but has lessened ALOT. and that is thanks to the understanding of my family, and my great piano teacher. thanks! =D you guys have made a difference! i hope you guys know that! =D
i'll go into detail next time. as i will have to do about my holiday and what happened since i left for kl until now.
BECAUSE. i know my results of both Uec and Pmr and both are ok. and tho my pmr has a shocking drop for that one subj, the first thing i did was laugh. i know some of you might purse your lips.. but hey. i dont really care. because i dont care about that subj and it certainly does not care for me. so both UEC and PMR results i am happy with (no false hope.. no expectations, no hurt). together with the blessing of my family. thanks! =D
BECAUSE. of Aunty Elsie who called in the morning to ask abou my Pmr results. i know this might be a small small unintentional thing, but i am so touched and surprised because no one CALLED to ask me about my pmr results. its like.. wow someone actually cared to call me. and tho i didnt know my results at that time, when i called her just now... she was happy for me for my results and i'm happy cz of that.
its kinda weird. but after that i just saw the word 'perfect' in my mind and had to blog.
everyone i love is safe and healthy and strong (health-wise); we have a new family member, a new chiu, who is healthy; theres a BBQ tmr; i had a very enjoyable chat with jessie on msn just now; dinner was yummy; i'm so enjoying reading breaking dawn; and next year is coming.
hey everyone who is grumbling and being sad about their results: its PMR and junior UEC! its NOT IMPORTANT. for those who have studied hard, you tried your best.. for those who didnt.. well.. mayb you deserve it? but just know that what's past is past. i know sometimes i dwell on the past too but dont. its new years soon! and school is starting soon (gosh).

crazy! -.-
note date of post! this post has been sitting in my drafts folder for way too long. planned to post it before 2009 bt looks like i didnt succeed did i? hah. enjoy! =D
yup! so all my siblings are HERE in KL! =D gosh. kat is fairer than me. i'm the darkest amongst all of them! T_______T haha. well.. all of them havent changed much. my bro is still the SAME.
its been CRAZY here. the day before yesterday, a few of us went down to nottingham university to pick amanda up. amanda our cousin from kuching. it was her bday! =D it was down near SEMENYIH (hahaha) and on our way, we got lost in the Pasar Semenyih and it was kind of interesting. we were looking for a COLD carbonated drink, and guess what? they dont have any. we went to about 3 or 4 shops, and all of them either had a very very very VERY small selection, or they didnt have refrigerated ones. and then we passed this roadside stall, those that sell meat, like those HUGE chunks they hang vertically. and omyGOSH! it was cow meat. and do you know how i know that it is COW meat? they were selling two cow heads too. YES! REAL, DEAD, HUGE, COW HEADS. with tongues still attached, sticking out from their mouth! hahaha. it was DISGUSTING. we took a picture of it. it actually took me by surprise when i realized it was, actually, quite big. it just never hit me that it was so huge. hahaha. yup. so it was a really interesting ride! =)
nottingham uni is very very nice. i mean the campus. its really pretty. its very open air. and i like that, as compared to spending your whole day in an enclosed air-con-ed room. it is a very nice campus, easy to understand, not a place easy to get lost in, and open air! =D
so we headed back, with amanda, to my uncle's house. we jsut chit chatted. i fell asleep after that. when i woke, they were watching pirates of the carribean, the final one, i dont know what its called. then after that, weirdly enough, we started watching gossip girl on the Mac. pam wanted to watch it. and naturally, everyone sat down to watch. and then after that, the other KLs arrived (grace, mel and esa). we all watched together. and then we brought the cake out! =D it was a surprise! they had bought the Choc Indulgence from secret recipe. it was very enjoyable. then we continued to watch G.G.
oh ya! we had pizza hut for dinner. and of course, they ordered too much. eating pizza was before the cake and before gossip girl, stil watching pirates at that time.
so after the cake and everything, everyone sat down to watch G.G. again. it got late. and guessed what time we finished? 5am+! -.- (there goes Ghrelin and Leptin..or whatever it is called, Kel! =P) YES. and even at that time, the changs (the other KLs) wanted to go back home. so they were sent back by i dont know who. and the next day, everyone woke up late. ahhaha. and in the afternoon (which was when we woke up), they sent amanda back to uni, while we went to taylor's with pam who needed to submit some stuff there.
that was yesterday and night, we went for supper. like at 12 midnight. it was FULL! i am so amazed by the number of cars on the road there are in KL after midnight. so we ate alot of food O.O and it was so funny! the Chang's came too. and there was a small bit of mee hoon left that no one wanted to eat. so it came down to 'kun chum'-ing (choosing.. as in rock paper scissors) and the one who lost had to eat it. so we were all discussing HOW to actually do this. so we wanted to divide into two grps, and the grp that lost could divide the food up again. but then we had uneven numbers. there were 9 of us i think. so we were discussing it (loudly, yes) and then pam suddenly shouted oh KAT! since you're sitting in the middle, you'llbe the one sitting on the fence!you MUST eat no matter what. then everyone was like yes! agreed! so that was that. my side of the table lost. but oh well. it was really fun. and unhealthy. it was like.. wat? 2am? and we were all FULL to the brim. but i guess that's normal being together with all the changs.
so that was pretty much the kl part. it was all sleeping VERY VERY late, and waking up likewise too. i really enjoyed it. it was interesting watching dave playing his ps3. =D besides eating, watching series, eating, going to mega mall (the only big mall on pam's map! haha), eating and sleeping, we didnt do much! =D enjoyable and a great way to get away from everything back home! =D
so about a week or more after that, (i actually really dont remember the date), we flew off to vietnam! we arrived in Ho Chin Mihn.. or Minh. @@ it was sooooo wow. not wow so beautfiul but just wow, wow. the traffic is so unbelievable. stressful even. there were really LOADS and LOADS of motorcycles. in the minivan, looking out the window to the street you just see like a SEA of helmets!!!! two lanes, one lane for cars, and the others for motorcycles.. its an unspoken agreement. haha. and the motorcycles are not just in like 3 rows.. about 10? they SURROUND you. its so full of motorcycles. they even hvae a motorcycle traffic light which is lower and smaller than usual ones. and on the roadside near traffic lights or at roundabouts there are ppl selling food and stuff like that. when the traffic slows ppl actually buy those things from their motors. kinda cool and really different.
and oh the honking!! you can hear horns every two seconds. all the time. they horn for ANYTHING. when someone slows down in front of them they horn. driving there is like no stops except at traffic lights. they dont really have the road lines. and they jnust GO. when crossing the road, even when the walking man is green on the traffic light, there are still vehicles going across. so its like.. just crossing the raod even tho the traffic flow has not come to a stop. hah my mum doesnt even look at the traffic she just goes. -.-
oh and they have different kinds of horns too. they got those echoing types. horn once and it sounds 6 times.. like an echo. @@ and their motorcycles can carry loads of stuff. LONG LONG metal pipes, or a big piece of smth, a load of stuff, a fan -.-.. and 4 ppl can fit the motorcycles. and its those normal sized ones like the ones here, not extra big ones.
we went to Hue too. oh and the china beach (dont remember where) is beautiful! i loved it. and went to Hoi An. i forgot which, but i like the small villagy place which is either HUe or Hoi An. we went to Sapa too. Sapa was like the country side of vietnam. it was high up and COLD. really COLD. and we went trekking and stuff to the villages. saw the Mong ppl who still live in wooden houses, and do beautfiul embroidary (or however u spell it) and wear traditionalclothing, and carry wood, and dye cloth and carve marble, and FARM and PLANT. all of Sapa (mountains) werecovered totally by terraces (or however you spell it -.-). it was breathtaking. we went to Danang too and Hanoi. i think its ok to go there for holiday i guess. but a translator is necessary. really troublesome bcz hardly anyone speaks eng there. but i would definitely not stay there for long. too chaotic with the horns and all.
if anyone is going there, eat PHO, which is pronounced as fir/fur, something like that. its yummy i loove it. and the roadside ones are the best. oh ya in vietnam they have those roadside stalls where the tables are like those in kidnergarden. really short and they still on the short short chairs or stools for kids. and they have alot of coffee shops where the chairs are facing the raod. they all just sit facing the raod, drinking tea or beer or whatever and watch the motorcycles go by. most of the shops are roadsides with no parking space, only enough for motorcycles. and they have hammocks too! they have hammocks in the coffee shop and motorcyclist actually go there and sleep or take a nap. so cool. haha
oooh. and to get to sapa. we had to take the train. and its an overnighter trip. we had a sleeper. so the space was so small and there were six 'sleepers' in it. it was kinda ok. but the toilet. OMGOSH. it was totally the SMELLIEST toilet i have ever ever ever had the luck to encounter. it wasnt really disgusting dirty. it was just so SMELLY. it STANK so bad, when you get out after seconds the smell is already stuck to your shirt. it was the most horrible experience EVER. T-T oh the toilets in vietnam dont have a good flush sistem. so you cant throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl. you have to throw it into a bin. and they dont really provide good bins with lids. yup. no lids. so thats really disgusting. luckily the hotels are ok. T-T after the train toilet... i probably have toilet phobia. after that i never went to a public toilet unless one of my family members have gone into it and have given the ok. -.- haha. so consider yourself warned! =D
well. thats kind of alot. i was glad to get back home. it was really getting to me.. the horns. ooooh and they have tiny trucks with covers.. like the trucks which carries horses just with the top cover. and thats their bus! its tiny! they jnust climb up and sit on it. ahhaha. but thats only in ho chin minh i think.

i went
to take a look at yahoo movies. and came acroos the twilight premeir photos. robert pattinson.. in my opinion. didnt look too good. his suit doesnt fit properly, his suit wasnt nice at all. his coat too. his shoelaces were untied too. hahaha.
i really really like taylor lautner, kellan lutz (emmet), peter facinelli (carlisle), and billy burke(charlie). they all look really really really good!
yay jessie has finally watched twilight! tho she didnt really enjoy it much. =(
anyway. am here now in kl at my cousins house. and my bro and sis are back.
my cousins family is so cool. i think they are all very very smart. including the parents! =D like the kls, (my cousins) they all are very very very smart and talented! and it was so hilarious! last night when we were having supper at about 11 or so, we were talking about movies. and australia came up. and they were like ya nicole kidman and hugh jackman. then they kept saying like ya nicole and hugh are in australia. hugh from xmen, the wolverine guy is in australia. then my uncle said hey kat was in australia just a few hours ago.
ahhahahahahah! so random!
well. its really nice to have my siblings here. =D and yea. we're going to watch twilight on sunday. =D i get really really happy when someone who hasnt read the book says that they enjoyed the movie! =D yay! cant wait for the 2nd movie! hope they do it better!

(=D =D) after that we went to tg aru to grab some stuff to eat. cass and her crazy love for sour fruits and salt, she bought the really really really super sour mango. and my sis bought guava plus hamoi. and i just got a packet of banana koropok. haha

i'm worried.
i just came back from volley trg. and it struck me. this is my last trg session. bcz i'm off to kl at noon on fri. yea, i know its so soon i dont even have time to breathe. its like. theres so many things to get done.
jessie, have you heard about the open volley competition this dec on the 20th-21st? =( its too bad you cant make it!! =(
sigh.
well. bcz me and my family are going to kl, staying a few days and then going to vietnam (yup, still dont know why vietnam of all places) then back to kl. i reach back home on the 19th. and the competition is on the 20th. the thing i'm worried about is.... well today alot of ppl came. about 7 from our team and the others were ex students. and i seem to have a fixed position. the subset which is for now, good enough for me. we had fun today. i enjoyed myself. we played properly 6 against 6 and it was fun and stressless. i loved it. so i'm worried that by not going for trg, i'm going to lose my position. =( sighhhhh. and then on the 20th i have a dentist appoitment and 21st is a piano grp lesson (scales). i can miss both but i wont make anyone happy that way. at all.
i dont even know whether i'll be able to be a reserve. thats what i'm worried about. and then of course, i have to bring theory along to do. but its very unlikely i'll get anything done. and what, i'm going to practice my pieces in my mind? X.X
and theres still alot to do before we leave. its like christmas shopping, getting the tree done (gah!), and i have to clean out my computer, and read up on vietnam. and of course theres the lazy part that just wants to lay down and read her book and not worry about anything.
sigh. i really wana...............
my mum is taking me (i think) to a doctor (i dont know what doctor) for my shoulder. huh. i think doctors are useless. they never get it right. 'rest more, itll get better soon' even EYE know that, you dont have to tell me.
since theres nothing i can do about all these things except DO them, huh. i suppose i just have to right?

now
i'm sitting outside at the official dining room (the one we hardly use) infront of the fish tank. miss lim and uncle ah fook came over with homemade sea coconut and longan rink (the one you can get at yen ai). and there were not enough chairs. since, kevin broke all the plastic ones with his 'i KNOW i can reach the bowl of rice from here without getting up from my seat' stuff. ive forgotten how many he has broken and we only have one left. now we use the metal chairs that used to be in our study room. hahaha. naturally i'm out here bcz i'm the youngest. haha.
my hosue looks like we're moving. there are so many boxes! cz i'm been talking about wanting a new bookshelf FOR MYSELF to put MY OWN books of MY OWN choice. and cz we recently bought so many books. how many? about 30 new ones or more. so my mum brought out all the empty cardboard boxes and started sorting out all the bokos piled up in ourr bookshelf. and she wants to pack them away. and she's considering selling. which i disagree! though the books are really old. like buffy, sabrina, sweet valley twins, enid blyton. hahaha. i really love books. hmm. may someday we'll open up a library! =D

and i'm so full i have no idea how, if the plan is still in motion, i'm going to be able to eat/drink anything. X.X
my parents are having fun meeting their old old OLD books that have been stuck in the bookshelves for who-knows how many years. there are books back from 1979. huh. its fun!

productive?
yay! today's volley trg was fun! =D =D tiring.. but i think mostly cz the soarness is still there from the last trg. but then today there were more ppl! me, leepei, qoo, pitza, ahming and elsa came. and andrea (ex student) came too. so after trg, we played 3 on 4 -.- it was me, leepei and andrea against the others. then after awhile teacher put himself in our team, and switched me over to the other side. it was so fun. like just a relxed fun stress-less game, where the points dont matter (whose line is it anyway) (well.. at least not really)
then i also cleaned up the last of the junk that have been lying on my table for about half a year now. and we put a few more decos on our christmas tree (not done yet. -.-) and we put the lights on! =D yay! i love love love our christmas tree! =D we're getting a new start! which we should have gotten last last yr but this yr, it just cant stand anymore. hahaha. so we decided its time to get a new one!
so it was kinda productive. cz i also practiced my piano! =D i'm still kinda undecided about which piece i should choose for my second piece! i'm deliberating between beethoven and clementi. both are just really fast. i kinda want the beethoven one, but then its slightly harder than the clementi one. my teacher asked me to pick the clementi.. hmmmmmmmmm. i'm not sure. :/ time is a factor in making this decision! well... just hope i choose the right one in the end! =D
omgoshhhhh. time has flown!!! i'm leaving for kl soon! O.O but its like.. so many things that still have to be done (piano?)!!!!! bleh. thinking about it is stressful! hahaha.
went to chuan hin just now for dinner. they didnt have th ebeef or the stingray. =(
i WANT A SHELF!!!!!! to put my books! =D me and my sis bought lots and lots of books from the bookfair in asia city! BUAHAHAHAHA. i cant wait to be able to freely read whenever i want without thinking whether or not i have finished doing theory or stuff like that. =D
well. going to bed! more christmas decos to be hung on th etree!
